What I’m going to share with you are some tools that you can use in your dental practice so that you can use this powerful tool much more effectively. The first thing that I would like you to do is to actually hand it to your patients; have the patients hold the DIAGNOdent unit in their hands so that they’ll know what the numbers mean and they can actually follow along. You can present to them an explanation that anything higher than this number (whatever the magic number is in your office) is a cavity, or is most likely a cavity, and we need to have the doctor check it out. So have every single patient pre-screened with the DIAGNOdent before the doctor walks the room. And it′s much easier for us then to have the discussion about what a potential cavity is, and any areas that could potentially become a cavity that might benefit from an elective sealant.

So using the DIAGNOdent in your dental practice marketing can really help smoothen up the case acceptance for you, especially on the new patients, or the patients that don’t have a whole lot of trust or confidence in our office yet, and they might be new to us.
